螳螂拳、太极拳名家马卫苓先生简历
 
 
    
 


马卫苓,1952年出生,北京市人,太极梅花螳螂拳第八代传人,六合螳螂拳第八代传人。吴式太极拳第五代传人。北京武术协会螳螂拳研究会技术总监兼副秘书长。
1971年开始跟随20世纪杰出武术家马汉清先生系统学习、掌握了太极梅花螳螂拳套路及长短器械、六合螳螂拳及散手、吴式太极拳传统套路及长短器械和手法与应用。特别注重实用散手技术技击的研究,有扎实的武术功底和深厚的理论基础,注重武德的修养。 
1983年正式拜马汉清为师,成为马汉清先生的首批入室弟子。其后协助老师拍教学片并撰稿发表在国内外刊物上。
1984年受聘为北京武术协会螳螂拳研究会委员,目前担任研究会技术总监兼副秘书长。
1997年代表本研究会出席济南市螳螂拳规定套路专家审定会,同年亦向意大利、加拿大、牙买加、美国、保加利亚、俄罗斯、台湾等国家和地区的爱好者传授中国武术。
1985年在“北京城建杯”武术比赛中荣获象形拳传统套路冠军。
1998年十一月参加“段位制”进修班,同年获得中国武术段位五段位证书。
2002年晋升为中国武术段六段位证书。
2004年受聘向北京体育大学武术院在校老师教授螳螂拳套路及应用手法。
2005年受聘为本研究会副秘书长兼技术总监。
2012年受聘为中国人民大学武术协会螳螂拳总教练。

 
 

 

Biography of Ma Weiling, Master of Tai Chi and Praying Mantis Kung Fu

Ma Wei ling was born in Beijing in 1952 and is an eight generation successor of Tai Chi Plum Blossom Praying Mantis and Six Harmonies Praying Mantis, as well as a fifth generation successor of Wu (吴) style Tai Chi.  He is the Technical Director and Vice-Chairman of the Beijing Martial Arts Praying Mantis Boxing Research Association.

1971 – Began studying with prominent 20th century Martial Artists Ma Han Qing.  In this time he mastered the forms and both short and long weapons of Tai Chi Plum Blossom Praying Mantis, as well as Six Harmonies Mantis Boxing, San Shou, and the traditional form of Wu style Tai Chi and its applications and short and long weapons.  Throughout these studies Ma put a special emphasis on researching practical San Shou techniques and fighting applications, with a firm grounding in basic skills and the fundamentals of martial art theory. He also emphasizes the morals and philosophy of martial arts in his teachings and personal life.

1983 – Ma officially recognized Ma Han Qing as his master and became a member of the first group of students to become official disciples of Ma Han Qing.  Afterwards he helped Ma Han Qing create educational media and write articles that were published both in China and abroad.

1984 – Ma was appointed as a committee member of the Beijing Martial Arts Praying Mantis Boxing Research Association, where he currently holds the positions of Technical Director and Vice Chairman.

1997 – Represented the above Research Association at the Experts Conference on Standardizing Forms in Praying Pantis Boxing in Ji Nan City, where the official standards of forms in Praying Mantis Boxing were established and finalized by Ma and other experts of the system.  During the same year he began to teach Chinese martial arts to hobbyists from around the world, including Italy, Canada, America, Bulgaria, Russia, and Taiwan.

1985 – Was named Champion for his performance of traditional forms in the Beijing ChengJian Cup Martial Arts Competition (北京城建杯武术比赛).

1998 – In November 1998 he participated in an advanced Duan training course (段位制进修班).* The same year he got the official certificate of the “Fifth Duan.”
*Duan is a ranking system established by the Chinese government. There are a total of ten Duan.

2002 – Ma was promoted to the next level and got the official certificate of the Sixth Duan of the Chinese Wushu Duan System.

2004 – Was appointed on-campus instructor of Praying Mantis Boxing forms and applications at the Martial Arts Department of Beijing Sport University.

2005 – Was appointed technical director and assistant secretary-general of the Beijing Martial Arts Praying Mantis Boxing Research Association.

2012 – Was appointed head instructor of Praying Mantis Boxing of Martial Arts Association of Renmin University of China.
